SCORES Partner, Laureus, 'Sport For Good Cities' Initiative Recognised In New World Health Organization Public Health Brief

SCORES Program Assistant, Merary Flores, interviewed at Laureus’s “Chicago’s Comeback” campaign announcement event held this past summer outside of Wrigley Field.

LONDON (Oct. 14, 2021) - Laureus Sport for Good, the leading global Sport for Development foundation, has been recognised in a new World Health Organization (WHO) public health brief, which cites the organisation’s Sport for Good Cities community aid model as part of international health policy for the very first time. Amongst Laureus’ partners, for which America SCORES Chicago is proudly included, the news is an exciting milestone for organizations that use sport to strengthen communities. In Chicago, for example, Laureus' partner programs reach more than 20-percent of the city’s youth.
