America SCORES Chicago Names Kevin Triskett As Executive Director
CHICAGO, IL (June 3, 2022) – America SCORES Chicago is pleased to announce the selection of Kevin Triskett as its new Executive Director. Triskett follows SCORES’ long-time leader and Executive Director, Amy Mummery, who announced her departure earlier this spring. As Executive Director, Triskett will work closely with staff and the Executive Board to ensure the organization can continue to serve students in some of Chicago’s most underserved communities.
"I am thrilled to join America SCORES Chicago and its amazing staff,” said Triskett. “My professional career has been devoted to improving communities through educational opportunities, and I believe so strongly in the high quality programming delivered by SCORES Chicago. I look forward to building awareness and new partnerships to advance our critical mission to inspire youth to lead healthy lives, be engaged students, and have the confidence and character to make a difference in the world."
Triskett earned his B.A. Muskingum University before going on to earn an M.P.A from Cornell University. He carries with him more than 15 years experience working in the nonprofit and foundation sectors across Chicago. Triskett spent nearly seven years in program operations at Start Early, a nonprofit champion for quality early learning and care, focused on closing the opportunity gap for our young learners, prior to his most recent tenure at the Chicago State University Foundation. At CSU, Triskett rose from Assistant to the Executive Director to Interim Executive Director over the span of three years prior to accepting the role at SCORES. During his time there, he played an integral role in advancing the interest and welfare of CSU by building relationships, securing philanthropic support, stewarding assets and otherwise procuring private support on behalf of the University.

Triskett officially takes the helm on Monday, June 6, 2022.
